About Relief Debt Compass

A finance house built on discipline, trust & long horizons.

Founded in 1997 in Butte, Montana, Relief Debt Compass began as a single-office advisory serving ranchers, small business owners and mining families. Three decades later we steward $2.5 billion in client assets across all 50 states — yet the principle our founders carved into the original ledger remains: advice must be worth more than the commission charged for it.

Every advisor on our team operates under fiduciary duty. That means we are obligated — legally and ethically — to place your interest above our own. We don't receive hidden kickbacks, trailing commissions or product-placement fees. Our revenue comes from one source only: the clients we serve.

  • Fee-only fiduciary model — transparent pricing, no product incentives, no hidden trails.
  • SEC-registered investment advisor — FINRA member firm, SIPC-protected accounts.
  • Nationwide service — licensed advisors in all 50 states & D.C.

Vision

To become America's most trusted name in independent financial counsel — the firm households call before they make any decision involving capital, risk or legacy.

Mission

Deliver institutional-grade financial architecture to everyday Americans — engineered with rigor, priced with candor and served with the patience of a family office.

Values

Fiduciary first. Candor over commission. Compounding over speculation. Stewardship over sales. These are not slogans — they are clauses in every advisor's employment contract.

Principles

Diversification is the only free lunch. Risk is permanent, volatility is temporary. Costs compound as powerfully as returns. Behavior, not selection, drives long-term outcomes.
